Epoprostenol PH&T is the generic of FLOLAN (GSK)

Epoprostenol is a naturally occurring prostaglandin: it is a strong vasodilator of all vascular beds and, in addition, it is also a potent endogenous inhibitor of platelet aggregation. It is the leading treatment for Pulmonary Hypertension, since it improves function and prolongs survival in patients with this disorder.

Sterile freeze-dried powder 0,5mg – 1,5 mg + solvent for solution for infusion

INDICATIONS

Indicated for the long term intravenous treatment of primary pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary hypertension associated with the scleroderma spectrum of disease in NYHA Class III and Class IV patients who do not respond adequately to conventional therapy.
Indicated for platelet aggregation inhibition in patients on renal dialysis.
