Latanoprost + Timolol PH&T is the generic of Xalacom (Pfizer).

Latanoprost is a prostaglandin analogue that works by increasing the outflow of aqueous fluid from the eyes, thus lowering intraocular pressure (IOP) via prostanoid-selective F2-alpha receptor. 
Timolol is a non-selective beta-adrenergic receptor blocker. In its ophthalmic form it is used to treat open-angle and occasionally secondary glaucoma by reducing aqueous humour production through blockage of the beta receptors on the ciliary epithelium.

PRESENTATION
2,5 ml bottle. Each ml contains 0.005% (50mcg) Latanoprost and 5 mg Timolol.

INDICATION
Reduction of intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension who are insufficiently responsive to topical beta-blockers or prostaglandin analogues.
