Budesonide PH&T is the generic of PULMICORT- RHINOCORT (Astra Zeneca).

Budesonide is a topical synthetic glucocorticosteroid, combining high local anti-inflammatory activity with no systemic effects.Such a favourable therapeutic ratio is due to the fact that budesonide is inactivated very rapidly in the liver after systemic absorption.

INDICATIONS

Treatment of non-infectious rhinitis. Non-infectious rhinitis includes seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever), perennial allergic rhinitis (e.g. house dust mite allergy), and perennial non-allergic rhinitis.
Treatment and prevention of nasal polyposis.
